  • Learn how to structure conversations clearly

  • Practice active listening and assertiveness

  • Ask effective questions and build conversations

  • Recognise controlling/coercive behaviours

  • Say “no” without guilt and speak up with confidence

Group Workshops for Corporate and Private clients

Price on discussion

These dynamic, drama-led group sessions are designed to bring communication theory to life through interactive, engaging experiences. Using live demonstration and acting, I model different communication styles in entertaining, relatable scenarios—inviting participants to observe, reflect, and interview these different examples of type.

Once we’ve explored four key personality types through performance and group discussion, I introduce a powerful quadrants model. Participants are then encouraged to:

  • Identify their own natural communication style

  • Understand the traits and "driving forces" behind others' styles

  • Learn how to adapt their approach to connect more effectively

This process helps explain why some people are easier—or harder—to relate to, and offers practical strategies to "treat others the way they want to be treated". It’s an energising and insightful experience that leaves participants with lasting tools for better influence, collaboration, and clarity in their communication.

✅ Ideal for: Corporate teams · Staff training days · Youth groups · Private bookings

How does it work?

How does it work?

I create bespoke sessions using :

Roleplay - where I do the acting and the participant responds. YOU DON’T NEED TO DO ANY ACTING!

Conversation simulation - where I recreate specific challenging behaviours, as directed by the client, for them to practice interacting with.

Hypothetical Scenarios - where we simulate specific behaviours to illustrate particular challenges, such as controlling behaviour or bullying

Forum theatre - where we create scripted scenes with one or two actors to demonstrate typical ineffective behaviours. The client can then stop and suggest changes to the scene and see the positive impact of those changes.

Demonstrations of different personality types - to illustrate a simple quadrants model about communication styles, which helps the client understand their own style vs the style of others.

Voicework - to understand how the voice is produced, how to support the voice when nervous and how to strengthen vocal impact in communication

Language selection - using elements of Neurolinguistic theories about positive language selection and its impact on others

YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE AN ACTOR TO DO THESE SESSIONS! IT’S MY JOB TO PRESENT YOU WITH DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION STYLES AND BEHAVIOURAL CHALLENGES. All emotions are welcomed and explored and you may make some eye-opening discoveries about yourself!

About Helen Goldwyn

With over 25 years of experience as a TAP-accredited training consultant, I specialise in helping individuals and teams transform their communication through practical, engaging, drama-led training. My approach combines behavioural identification, psychometric models, and live roleplay to create powerful, experiential learning that sticks.

My background includes four years as Creative Consultant at RoleplayUK, where I co-developed the company’s training division—writing forum theatre scripts, designing bespoke behavioural programmes, and delivering high-impact training events for both assessment and development. I’ve worked with a wide range of organisations—from Virgin Atlantic and the NHS to John Lewis and the Home Office—coaching everyone from front-line staff to senior leaders.

Alongside my corporate work, I have over 30 years of experience as a professional actor, writer, and director. This creative foundation enhances my training style, allowing me to bring realism, empathy and energy to every session.

Whether I’m coaching a teenager to find their voice, or facilitating a corporate workshop on leadership and influence, my goal is always the same: to create a safe, supportive space where people can understand themselves better, connect with others more effectively, and build skills that lead to lasting change.

Please note: I am not a qualified psychologist or counsellor, my work is rooted in many years of practical behavioural coaching and communication training.
